Boiling PointAfter having been to a number of venues in all of the east coast states of Australia I have most frequently encountered respectful participants and patrons who are very supportive in encouraging people willing to give it a go on stage. I have, however, most recently (last 6 months or so) experienced at numerous venues, people making fun of and ridiculing the brave souls on stage (some of whom are pouring their hearts out) in what is really only a volunteer entertainer role. Most people who get on stage are nervous and lovers of singing in their own homes, not people with overblown egos who get paid for it. I think that people should take that into account!
