From the Where2sing.com stories: Boiling PointI think the most frustrating thing I have ever seen at Karaoke was a venue that decided to remove a highly successful, competent host and replace them with a guy who was terrible… all because it saved them money. The guy that came in was unintelligible through the mic, and his mix was awful. To make matters worse we then caught him shifting his friends into the list and giving them preferential treatment. The cost for the pub was that the majority of us who were there every week all moved away to other pubs and they went from a very busy night to a very quiet one. The moral of the story? If you have a good host, keep them because they will make or break your venue.
