Crashed and burned at karaokeI must admit it is always scary doing songs that you dont even like! I was at regular long running venue a few years ago where the host decided to mix it up a bit. They asked for every singer to nominate a song and put it in the hat. Whenever the next singer came up a song was drawn out of the hat. I drew 'The Greatest Love of All'. My usual style is meat & potatoes rock & roll and some elvis and country so needless to say I crashed and burned big time. I must admit though it was a fun night because most singers stepped out of their comfort zone and some even realized they could sing new songs!!
