Losing my virginity
My husband & I were travelling thoughout Queensland and staying at caravan parks. One in particular was having a 'sausage sizzle' and someone was playing a quitar. They asked if anyone could sing Crazy by Patsy Cline so I thought I would have a go, it seemed to go OK. When we returned to SA we went to the Bridgeway Hotel in Pooraka and I had my first taste of real karaoke. Never did I think that I would be able to overcome my initial shyness and get up on a stage and sing but with Nicola & Barry's encouragement I did and since then have gone on to sing a various venues when we have been travelling. I love it. My favourite venue so far has been the Taree Club.
